A couple of recent images shot in the Shoreditch area of London. A place rich with graffiti and interesting subjects to capture.
I seen this idea in a photography magazine some time back and I have been meaning to give it a go. You wouldn’t think that the images go together but somehow I think they just do.

Image of the concrete arched structure at Wisley RHS. Converted to black and white to emphasise the sculptures shape and surface texture. This image can also be downloaded as a desktop wallpaper from the downloads page.
A photograph taken recently of a flamingo. The image was shot in quite low light with dark bushes behind the animal. I converted the image to black and white because it produced a much more powerful image then I originally thought it would.
